About the job

The Gainsight Product Manager plays a unique role within the greater Sales Operations team. This person will be responsible for leading the Gainsight strategy and program supporting the business needs for Customer Success, oversight of day-to-day activities, as well as taking on strategic initiatives and projects in helping maintain and evolve processes, and systems that define our customer relationships. This person will be a key partner for our Customer Success organization.

The Opportunity

As a Gainsight Product Manager, you will:

  • Develop Gainsight(or similar system) strategy and program milestones to align with Customer Success strategy
  • Responsible for scoping business requirements for Customer Success(and potentially other teams) and translating needs to technical specifications
  • Design, demonstrate proof of concepts, and implement solutions adhering to project timelines
  • Partner with Gainsight Admin to configure the system to meet the needs of the business(dashboards, CTAs, reports)
  • Liaise with Customer Success stakeholders to proactively understand evolving needs and propose technology-led solutions
  • Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to continuously evolve Gainsight
  • Work with our system administrators as well as external vendors to ensure our systems meet the current business requirements while remaining flexible enough for the future
  • Partner with CS Program Managers to develop enablement materials and communication of the latest systems enhancements

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years of hands-on Customer/Sales Operations, Customer Success
  • Previous experience in Customer Success or a strong understanding of CS
  • Knowledge of Gainsight functionality(Rules Engine, Journey Orchestrator, Custom Objects
  • Technically savvy: Knowledge of technical capabilities(Gainsight, SF, Segment etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
