We are hiring a Head Of Renewals working for the SVP Customers to help build a global renewals function within MongoDB. This is a meaningful role, as this person is responsible for building our dedicated renewals function from the ground up.

The ideal candidate for this role is a builder with a strong process focus who can bring experience and domain expertise but also understand and adapt to the needs of our business to define, optimize and scale MongoDB’s renewals strategy and practices. 

Engaging closely with internal stakeholders, you will develop, deploy and maintain a robust renewals process and appropriate tools and a renewals reporting infrastructure to deliver insights and analytics 

You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and know how to navigate a global and matrixed organization to get things done. You are a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and an effective communicator.

This role is remote optional until April 4, 2022, we are looking to speak to candidates who plan to be available in either London or Dublin for when we introduce our hybrid model.

Specifically the responsibilities are:

On a given day in this role you will 

  • Start by designing, developing, deploying and iterating on a structured renewal process
  • Hiring and building a team from scratch
  • Incorporate the relevant tools and supporting resources that your team will need
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Sales Leadership to ensure accurate predictions and forecasting
  • Providing guidance and mentorship for your team based on Call-Shadowing & development areas
  • Build and foster relationships with many different Executive Stakeholders across Sales and Customer Success

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines and quotas
  • Ability to work autonomously in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment; must be a motivated, driven self-starter
  • Ability to identify the business problems, propose a solution, and see a problem through to resolution.
  • MongoDB hires company builders and, in this role, you will be tasked with building and ultimately maintaining a team of highly motivated Renewal Managers, and Managers
  • Proven track record of overachievement 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A strong desire to drive key-decisions based on data and evidence
