About the Role

Since launching in early 2020, Ramp has experienced exponential organic growth. We’re now doubling down on our content program to grow our small business and startup customer base. We’re looking for a writer/editor, preferably with a finance background, to help us drive and execute our content strategy. As a key member of Ramp’s Content team, you will contribute to editorial content across the buyer journey from product announcements to how-to articles and small business guides to help our sales team close deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and edit high quality content that grows the Ramp brand and nurtures potential customers. You’ll work on blog posts, social copy, landing pages, etc. – we’re a small team so there’s an opportunity to work across a wide range of projects
  • Contribute to our SEO strategy by writing, editing and optimizing content so that it ranks highly in search
  • Work on campaigns and all sorts of creative projects with colleagues in product and growth marketing
  • Work closely with subject matter experts from around the company to develop the best content possible
  • Collaborate with external contributors – partners and freelancers – to contribute to our content program
  • Stay on top of finance industry developments, news, and trends so that we publish content that resonates with Ramp target prospects and customers   

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in writing Content at a SaaS, Fintech or Financial company
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
  • Great knowledge of startup / small business finance topics
