On the back of strong growth in 2020, and with COVID-19 significantly accelerating our trajectory, OnFrontiers is expanding rapidly. We've made significant enhancements and major expansions in functionality to our flagship product, and built an entirely new product suite, while dramatically expanding our customer base and expert community.

We’re hiring a Business Analyst to help us scale our knowledge marketplace by bolstering demand within target audiences, amplifying engagement and understanding how we can improve operational efficiencies. Our Business Analyst will initially help set the foundation for the Analytics function at OnFrontiers by contributing to key decisions about tools, metrics, strategic roadmap and experiments. As we carve out our place in the market, you’ll help determine how to structure our analytics infrastructure and will help establish our BI toolkit to increase marketplace performance.

In this remote (US based) role, you’ll:

  • Perform comprehensive end-to-end marketplace analysis and map out the user journey to identify process/systematic gaps and potential solutions
  • Establish and build Objective Key Results (e.g., fulfillment rate, NPS, etc) and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) trends and targets
  • Establish analysis processes and strategies by analyzing and mining data to identify areas of opportunities and gaps in current strategies
  • Work cross functionally to proactively and systematically identify and implement any enhancements to reporting and analytics processes
  • Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting. Serve as an analytics subject-matter expert on the team
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams regarding impacts to business metrics (for example, sales, market share)
  • Make recommendations to cross-functional leadership regarding gaps and solutions; and support the implementation of solutions.
  • Quantify business decisions and model data based on proposed initiatives to drive key performance indicators and determine organizational impacts (for example, profit, sales, markdowns) 
  • Partner across Operations, Product, Sales and Technology team in the development, rollout and refinement of analytics dashboards and reports.
  • Identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives
  • Assesses the needs of the OnFrontiers marketplace, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion
  • Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.

We’re looking for people who bring:

  • At least 3-5 years relevant work experience in data analytics or data science at a marketplace or B2B SaaS company
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in a business field with a focus on quantitative or research methods; graduate degree in a science, mathematics, operations, business, digital marketing or survey-based research methods is a plus
  • Ability to perform data investigation (e.g., data source identification, feasibility of joins, determine data reasonableness based on business insights)
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize both qualitative (e.g., process, fidelity, etc) and quantitative data (e.g. fulfillment data, match rate, etc) sets into meaningful information
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in working in a fast paced environment with global talent
  • Exceptional time and goal-oriented self-management skills are a must
  • Experience with the federal market or in a business focused on talent or research is a plus
