The Role

TaxBit is looking for a Senior Partner Marketing Manager who’s excited about creating and scaling a world-class partner ecosystem from the ground up. The ideal candidate understands how to work with partners to create strong, lasting relationships between the customer, partner, and TaxBit. 

TaxBit is investing heavily in its GTM partnership organization in 2022; this is a key role within Marketing that will work closely with the Partnerships, Product, Sales, and Customer Operations teams.

In this role, you’ll work with regional and global consulting/advisory partners and software/ISV alliances to drive marketing initiatives in support of launching new partnerships, generating partner pipeline, and partner incentives programs. This role also includes marketing execution across TaxBit’s partner programs, partner enablement, and partner co-selling initiatives in order to increase partner participation and engagement. 

The role requires deep knowledge of and experience in building and growing channel partner and alliances relationships; the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus around key messaging and marketing assets. 

An understanding of the relationships within Web3, crypto, and/or accounting industries would be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute TaxBit’s partner marketing strategy in alignment with TaxBit leadership and business strategy
  • Become a subject matter expert on the market, product, and partner landscape
  • Create cross-channel lead gen strategies to support the achievement of aggressive partner sourced pipeline and revenue targets
  • Create unique, innovative partner incentive programs and offers to excite partner sellers and gain mindshare
  • Collaborate with TaxBit Partnerships, Product, Sales, and Customer Operations teams to build a world-class, lead-to-cash partner processes
  • Collaborate closely with partners’ marketing teams to build joint-partner marketing campaigns and generate incremental pipeline and revenue
  • Work with Partnerships and Sales teams on the execution of partner events, sales engagement, and playbooks and collateral to enable partners to effectively sell to customers
  • Report out on a regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to all key stakeholders with a strong analytical approach and crisp communication style

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant partner marketing experience—ideally in a commercial, high growth  SaaS environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with deep experience presenting to senior management
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments working with partners to align on the best strategy given the current product roadmap and immediate business needs
  • Able to multitask and execute efficiently in a hypergrowth startup environment i.e. you love to roll up your sleeves and GSD
  • Ability to work with multiple different types and sizes of partner organizations to support  a partner ecosystem capable of scaling globally
  • Think critically and work collaboratively across all teams and areas of the business to provide partners with the resources they need to be successful
  • Ability to assess business problems, collect data from key stakeholders, and formulate the numbers into a comprehensive strategy that breaks down barriers and drives resolution
  • Travel expectation of 10-25% contingent upon COVID-19 restrictions
  • Bachelor Degree

Desired Skills

  • Extensive track record of launching technology products through partners, executing complex GTM strategies with many stakeholders, and outperforming the competition
  • Experience working with the Big Four, SIs, ISVs, and other consulting and technology partners
  • Ability to create partner pricing and packaging models that will help TaxBit drive rapid revenue growth through a deep understanding of partners, the market, buyers, and competition
  • Ability to craft original content that resonates with both partner sellers and their clients to help inform and drive a purchase decision
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets to execute partner MDF, events, incentives, and other joint marketing activities
  • Affinity for building and delivering sales presentations for partner sales enablement, customer webinars, and in-person events and tradeshows
  • Flexibility and agility in changing project and product priorities to meet market and partner needs
  • MBA Degree
