Strava is looking for a marketing operation professional to join our expanding European team. In this role, you will support our regional marketing and growth initiatives through our owned email, push and in-app marketing channels, working closely with the European growth team, local country managers as well as our global US-based CRM team. You will work on ad-hoc messaging campaigns as well as programmatic lifecycle initiatives, that help our users discover and engage with the rich local Strava community and product. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Support the operational execution of our email, push, and in-app marketing campaigns.

  • Work cross-functionally with strategic stakeholders, design, localization to develop highly impactful, targeted and personalized campaigns for the European Strava athletes/users.

  • Meet campaign launch deadlines, balance multiple projects, proactively communicate delivery status and navigate issues.

  • Ensure that all campaigns are launched 100% error-free, with correct targeting, message and design.

  • Support larger global CRM team initiatives and collaborate on the marketing launch calendar, ensuring balance across regional and global initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for testing, improvements and optimisations with a focus on local markets.

 

We’re excited about you because:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a marketing operations role or equivalent work experience

  • You have a keen understanding of email marketing, with hands-on experience building and launching campaigns.

  • You are highly analytical with the ability to drive and translate insights into relevant strategies and tactics for execution with basic knowledge of SQL

  • You possess an excellent understanding of GDPR rules and regulations

  • You have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS for developing and adapting email templates

  • You are a self-starter and proactively seeking out areas for improvement with high attention to detail, organized, and methodical in your approach

  • Have an eye for marketing content, copywriting and design.

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Additional languages Dutch, French, German, or Spanish

  • Ad-operations experience

  • Previous experience working with colleagues or clients located globally
