Software Defined Radio (SDR) Test Engineer Astranis designs high performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) based payloads to deliver internet across the world. As an SDR Test Engineer, your work is an important part of the team's iterative approach to building successful radios. You will start off creating, streamlining, and executing test plans for our payload SDRs for testing on the ground and in orbit. Eventually, your work could grow to encompass testing, characterization, and calibration anywhere from the unit level (SDR box) to the spacecraft level (the entire end to end payload). You will have to think at scale - we need to improve our software and hardware infrastructure to drastically reduce testing and characterization effort per spacecraft.
